JOHN KILLESH
Original name: Helio Jorge Rufino
Marcheti Date of Birth: 01/08/1989 Rio de Janeiro / RJ - Brazil
Coming from the west of Rio de Janeiro, guitarist John Killesh had his first experience with rock n' roll still in his childhood, in a Super Nintendo game called rock n' roll that contained the songs Paranoid (Black Sabbath), Higway Star (Deep purple), Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf) and Peter Gunn Theme (The Blues Brothers). This his musical taste based on a very present formed guitar with riffs. At the age of 18 he started working at a local factory and managed to buy his first guitar, and as a matter of course he created his first band that was the cover of his biggest influence at the time, Iron Maiden. After a few years of jumping between bands of various styles like hard rock and thrash metal, he had a bad experience recording one of his songs at a local studio, so he decided he would do the whole process from recording to production, and started to study basics of audio and phonographic production. With more than 30 years and almost giving up on music, due to Brazil's difficulty in maintaining a band, he was invited to join Facing Fear and after a brief encounter he had all his motivation reinvigorated, for now sharing his dream of reaching the world.
